Registered Nurse - Oncology Practice

About the role

Supports adult neuro-oncology patients as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient setting, providing complex care coordination, clinical evaluation, and patient resource support within an NCI-Designated Cancer Center.

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises care plans collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
• Administers chemotherapy and immunotherapy
• Performs nurse telephone triage and discharge planning
• Prepares advanced drug therapies
• Ensures optimal patient outcomes through clinical evaluation and supportive care
• Supports clinic operations in a fast-paced environment
• Serves as a resource for patients and providers
• Supports research and standard care treatments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license
• BLS CPR certification
• At least 2 years of oncology nursing experience
