Schedule
Full-time Nights, 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing and provide leadership to ensure quality patient care
- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during shifts
- Assess patient care needs, develop and distribute care assignments
- Evaluate patient care effectiveness and address issues affecting outcomes
- Respond to patient care complaints and manage through established channels
- Contribute to hiring, training, and staff evaluations
Requirements
- Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing
- BLS certification within 1 month of hire; ACLS and PALS may be required within 6 months
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and at least 1 year of relevant experience
