Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Center (Day/Night)

About the role

This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high‑acuity Neuroscience Center, focusing on adult patients with neurological conditions such as strokes, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and intracranial hemorrhages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed neurological assessments and manage intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring.
• Medication titration and oversight of surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
• Monitor seizure activity and manage overall neurological patient care.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including LPNs, PCNAs, providers, and therapists.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, time management, and delegation skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
