Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Center (Day/Night)

This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity Neuroscience Center unit focused on adult neurological patients, including stroke, TBI, and intracranial hemorrhage cases. Responsibilities include performing detailed neurological assessments, ICP monitoring, medication titration, and managing devices such as surgical drains and mechanical ventilators. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including LPNs, PCNAs, providers, and therapists. The unit features advanced technology like telemetry monitoring and offers a supportive environment with awards such as the Daisy Award and Beacon Award. Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates hold a BSN and professional certifications recognized by the Magnet designation. Key skills include critical thinking, time management, delegation, and seizure disorder care.
