About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within organizational policies. They maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Georgia
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Applicable specialty certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) based on the unit
• Additional certifications may be required for specialized units (ICU, emergency, dialysis, pediatrics, surgical services, women's services)

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• New graduates are eligible
• Hospital experience preferred
