About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Work is performed within organizational policies and includes demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
- Ensure the delivery of quality nursing care by supervising assigned staff.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: No experience required; new graduates eligible. Hospital experience preferred, with 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN roles.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license, BCLS certification, and additional specialty certifications if applicable.
