About the Role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They work within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNLC multistate license
• Mandatory BCLS certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, CHEMO/BIO, or NRP), with specific timelines for completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized certifications such as CDN for Dialysis
