About the role
Provides direct patient care on the Acute Care (MedSurg) Orthospine unit, utilizing top of scope nursing practice and evidence-based care models.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizes patient wellness and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentors new staff and ensures safety and quality at the point of care
- Manages patients with moderate to high acuity, applying specialized clinical standards
- Delivers comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Supports patient outcomes through evidence-based practices
- Serves as a preceptor to new staff
Requirements
- Active RN licensure
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least 6 months of RN experience
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
