Registered Nurse - MedSurg Nights

About the Role

This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes by utilizing critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, administer medications, and perform treatments appropriate to their age and condition.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Address psychosocial needs and promote patient safety through cost-effective practices.
• Demonstrate technical skills and assist with procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer literacy.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
