Registered Nurse - MedSurg - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the role

Registered Nurse supporting Med Surg across multiple campuses in a float team, delivering personalized, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
• Foster teamwork by creating a respectful environment, contributing to staff engagement, and participating in performance improvement projects.
• Mentor fellow nurses and interdisciplinary team members through ongoing education and coaching.
• Lead evidence-based practice initiatives, participate in research, and support patient safety efforts.
• Plan proactive care across the patient journey, shaping protocols to enhance experiences and reduce readmissions.
• Manage resources efficiently, ensuring effective use of time, staff, and tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and experience with computer data entry.
• Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
