Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical (Inpatient) FT Nights

About the role

Provides direct medical-surgical nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing practice standards to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Develops personalized care plans and uses the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to assess needs, set goals, and implement interventions, ensuring culturally sensitive, ethical, and holistic care.
• Educates patients and families on health promotion and comfort measures.
• Demonstrates leadership by mentoring colleagues, applying evidence-based practices, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• May perform point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school or equivalent.
• Current RN licensure in applicable states.
• BLS certification.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and other physical requirements.
