Key Responsibilities
- Applying standards of medical-surgical nursing to enhance patient quality of life by evaluating care practices.
- Establishing effective relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Considering physical, cultural, social, economic, spiritual, and developmental factors in care management.
- Leading and collaborating with healthcare teams to address patient needs, set goals, and evaluate outcomes.
- Communicating effectively to support informed, ethical, and culturally sensitive decision-making.
- Educating patients and families on health maintenance, restoration, and comfort measures.
- Mentoring colleagues, promoting a healthy work environment, and applying evidence-based practices.
- Performing point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Valid RN license in relevant states, with BLS certification.
- Physical ability to perform necessary tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and communication.

- Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and clinical judgment, with a focus on holistic, patient-centered care.
