Registered Nurse – Inpatient Med Surg, Nights

About the Role

Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process, coordinate with healthcare teams, evaluate care effectiveness, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. The role involves managing diverse adult medical conditions in a dynamic inpatient medical-surgical setting, performing assessments, and ensuring high-quality care aligned with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient assessments and plan care based on the nursing process
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care
• Maintain professional accountability and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Support a variety of medical conditions with an emphasis on clinical excellence and patient safety

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Previous hospital experience preferred; specialty certifications and BSN are a plus
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various nursing duties
