Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full Time, Night Shift

About the Role

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5E to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role offers opportunities to develop core clinical skills such as patient assessment, complex care coordination, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for adults with diagnoses like respiratory infections, pneumonia, and diverticulitis
• Utilize the nursing process, including patient assessment and care planning
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and adherence to standards of care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Previous hospital experience preferred; additional certifications and specialty experience are advantageous
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical tasks
