Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Float

Role Overview

The MedSurg Float Pool RN provides patient care across MedSurg and mixed acuity units, supporting two hospital campuses. This role offers a float pool differential and requires flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Support MedSurg and mixed acuity units, float between campuses
• Participate in unit-based councils and shared governance initiatives
• Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements
• Engage in ongoing professional development and certification renewal

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years in telemetry or critical care preferred
• Current RN licensure in MA in good standing
• BSN preferred; associates considered with enrollment in BSN within a year
• BLS certification required; specialized certifications like PCCN or CVRN preferred
