Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Day Shift

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various clinical settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to deliver high-quality services while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, ensuring safety and effective treatment. Key Responsibilities Assess patient condition accurately and administer prescribed medications.Deliver care suitable to patient age and condition, including basic self-care activities.Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical services.Address psychosocial needs of patients and coordinate post-discharge support.Use cost-effective practices, manage supplies efficiently, and prioritize patient care.Promote patient safety by minimizing risks and harm.Engage in continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy required.Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
