About the Role
Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts to ensure well-organized patient care. Follow physician and nursing orders accurately. Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Current RN license or eligibility to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program and professional licensure at the time of hire.
Schedule
Part-time days position in the 3 South MedSurg department.
Location
UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
