About the Role

This is a part-time night shift nursing position in the Cardiovascular Thoracic PCU of an acute care hospital. The role involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity medical-surgical environment, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care.
• Prioritize patient wellness and safety.
• Precept new staff.
• Contribute to quality outcomes in a unit emphasizing specialty care with standards aligned to core curriculum and certifications.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the state.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification through recognized organizations.
