Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and delivering comprehensive patient care during hospitalization.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and reassessments, documenting findings accurately.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments, lab data, and physician orders.
• Implement and document nursing interventions, administer medications, and coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure safety protocols.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, manage specialized care such as restraints and pain control, and address abuse indicators.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and quality indicators.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the relevant state(s).
• BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and professional development.
