About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, compassionate patient care to promote positive outcomes. Working under general supervision, the RN coordinates patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care
- Develop individualized care plans based on medical history, diagnostics, and current status
- Administer medications and treatments to ensure effective care
- Reconcile medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Monitor patient responses and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; specialty experience preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact state, with BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
