About the role
Join the Pulmonary Department as a registered nurse in a busy acute care setting, providing specialized care for patients with respiratory issues.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals from birth through the lifecycle.
- Collaborating with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to deliver high-quality nursing services.
- Maintaining clinical standards, coordinating care activities, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Working within patient ratios influenced by volume and acuity to provide optimal care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates are eligible.
- Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, one year hospital experience, and advanced certifications in specialty areas.
