Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Assess: Performs comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, social, and psychological states, gathering information from patients, families, and healthcare team members.Plan: Develops individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and the team, including education and support planning.Implement: Coordinates and delegates care, manages resources, and prioritizes tasks to deliver effective patient care within professional and regulatory standards.Evaluate: Monitors patient responses to interventions, revises care plans as needed, and ensures optimal outcomes and satisfaction.Professionalism: Upholds legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, maintains accurate documentation, and promotes the nursing profession. Key skills include patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, effective communication, critical thinking, and documentation. Qualifications require a current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN for those with less than 12 months of experience. Preferred candidates hold a BSN from an accredited institution. The role involves physical activity such as lifting, moving patients, and operating medical equipment.
