About the role

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a registered nurse providing care for patients with conditions like congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. Utilize skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing Bi-PAP, high flow oxygen, trachs, and vents. The unit features 24 beds and employs advanced technology like patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Critical thinking, delegation, and time management
• Work alongside PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure in Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS certification (or within 6 months)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
