About the role
Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care in a Med Surg department, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for patients by monitoring progress and communicating vital updates to the care team.
- Coordinate seamless care by acting as the central link between physicians, specialists, and support staff.
- Spearhead discharge planning, empowering patients and families with resources for successful recovery.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current multi‑state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
