Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Position Overview Provide direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and condition updates.Serve as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team. Qualifications And Skills Current RN licensure or eligibility to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing.BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at the time of hire. Role Details Work on a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit caring for patients with diagnoses like pneumonia, COPD, CHF, diabetes, and undergoing procedures such as EGDs, lithotripsy, PEG tube placement, and cholecystectomies.Full-time night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.Potential bonus of up to $20,000 for full-time positions.Eligible benefits include paid time off, parental leave, assistance programs, tuition reimbursement, and more.
