About the Role
This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit with a primary focus on conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced technology like telemetry monitoring
- Perform EKG interpretation
- Manage central line care
- Assist with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies
- Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, and therapy staff to deliver comprehensive care to a 14-bed unit
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certifications
