About the role
Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at a Level One Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient-centered care for populations such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis
- Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management
- Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, and OT
Unit details
- 14 beds with advanced technology including patient lifts, communication tools, and telemetry monitoring
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- PRN requiring at least 1 year of RN experience and necessary certifications upon hire
- Preferred: BSN and professional certification recognized by Magnet
