About the Role
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, including patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced technology and skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures (e.g., endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
- Apply critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management while collaborating with PNCAs, nurse interns, providers, and therapy teams.
- Support patients requiring ventilators, trachs, vents, and high-flow oxygen therapy.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Ohio RN licensure.
- BLS certification (within 90 days of hire).
- ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
- At least 1 year of relevant RN experience for PRN roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Professional certifications recognized by the Magnet designation.
Schedule
Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
