About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in an oncology unit with 30 beds, serving patients aged 18 and older.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administering chemotherapy and biotherapy
- Managing procedures such as IV starts, dressing changes, and port access
- Ensuring accurate documentation
- Promoting patient safety
- Offering emotional support
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver quality care
- Performing nursing duties aligned with unit standards
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly
- Supporting patient and family needs with compassion
- Maintaining compliance with documentation and safety standards
- Participating in department initiatives and ongoing education
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
