Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology - Night Shift

About the role

Provide professional nursing care in a specialized Medical Oncology Unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and recognize changes in status.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient progress and ensure safety and compliance.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve unit goals.
• Adhere to hospital policies and the Illinois RN Practice Act.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within one year of hire.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in inpatient settings.
• Nursing degree (Associate or higher); Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
