Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
• Communicating effectively with patients and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Providing individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
• Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Key Duties

• Deliver safe, effective patient care in a medical pulmonary setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients and families.
