Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring safety, timeliness, and appropriateness
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members in person, on the phone, and in writing
• Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations

Requirements

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Current nursing license in Illinois
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association
