Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Provide individualized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing licensure in Illinois.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Key Duties

• Deliver direct patient care during night shifts, including assessments and care coordination.
• Ensure clear communication with healthcare team members and patients.
• Engage in professional development and quality improvement efforts.
