Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Nights

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Coordinating patient care plans to ensure safe, timely, and appropriate interventions
• Communicating effectively in person, by phone, and in writing
• Providing individualized education to patients and families based on assessments
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice
• Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations
• Deliver safe, effective patient care in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and communicate clearly
• Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school
• Current Illinois nursing license
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association
