About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care on a 26-bed medical floor, primarily caring for adults with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs in the delivery of patient care.
- Participate in clinical conferences and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Assess and address both psychological and physical patient needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document care according to guidelines.
- Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
- Oversee and evaluate the delivery of patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and adhere to professional standards and policies.
Requirements
- BSN from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
- Current Montana RN license and BLS certification.
- Preferred certification in practice area.
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and navigate busy clinical environments.
