Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care on a 26-bed medical floor, primarily caring for adults with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs in the delivery of patient care.
• Participate in clinical conferences and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assess and address both psychological and physical patient needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document care according to guidelines.
• Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
• Oversee and evaluate the delivery of patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and adhere to professional standards and policies.

Requirements

• BSN from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification.
• Preferred certification in practice area.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and navigate busy clinical environments.
