About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care on a 26-bed medical unit specializing in respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis cases, as well as observation patients. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and addressing patients' physical and psychological needs
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Communicating compassionately with patients and families
- Overseeing care delivered by LPNs and CNAs
- Participating in clinical team conferences
- Following regulatory, hospital, and professional guidelines
Requirements
- BSN degree from an accredited program or equivalent experience
- Current Montana RN license
- BLS certification at hire
- Preferred: National certification in the practice area
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret documents, perform calculations, and follow instructions
- Manual dexterity and physical capability for patient handling and equipment use
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with patient mobility and supplies
Schedule
Full-time night shift position.
