Registered Nurse - Med/Surg T6 (Inpatient)

Position Overview Seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced, team-oriented Observation Unit with 43 beds, providing acute care for cardiac, surgical, and behavioral health patients with a typical stay of 24-48 hours. Responsibilities Include Performing assessments, developing and modifying care plans, and implementing nursing interventions.Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring patient and staff safety.Responding to changes in patient status and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Utilizing skills such as IV insertions, telemetry monitoring, and patient connections.Participating in staff meetings, adhering to departmental competencies, and supporting professional growth. Qualifications And Skills Active Illinois RN license and BLS certification.At least 1 year of nursing experience.Proficiency in nursing procedures, equipment use, and documentation standards.Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
