About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility for a group of patients, delivering care through the nursing process, utilizing current trends, technology, and resources within the institutional philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-specific duties
• Implement and modify care plans based on assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Conduct initial patient assessments
• Develop and adjust care plans
• Ensure patient and staff safety by addressing hazards
• Communicate effectively with colleagues
• Provide constructive feedback
• Identify personal learning needs
• Assess IV sites every 4 hours
• Initiate IVs per policy
• Ensure documentation standards are met
• Attend staff meetings
• Recognize patient status changes

Qualifications and skills

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active RN license
• Ability to perform clinical assessments and interventions
• Strong communication skills
• Teamwork abilities
• Safety awareness
• Documentation skills to support high-quality patient care
