The position involves leading compassionate, evidence-based care for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and surgeries within a Med Surg Neuro department.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care by acting as a central communication point among physicians, therapists, and families to ensure a seamless recovery.
- Monitor and interpret patient clinical status accurately, proactively identify condition changes for prompt intervention.
- Empower patients and families through education and discharge planning for successful transitions home.
Requirements
- Valid RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current multi-state license.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- An accredited nursing diploma or equivalent professional licensure is required.
