About the role
Lead compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care for stroke, brain injury, and surgical patients in a Med Surg Neuro unit.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care, serving as a central communication hub between physicians, therapists, and families for seamless recovery.
- Monitor and interpret patient clinical status accurately, proactively identifying changes for prompt intervention.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and support to ensure a confident transition home.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or applicable multi‑state license.
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
