Registered Nurse - Med Surg Neuro

About the role

Provide compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and surgeries in a Med Surg Neuro department. Act as the central coordinator among physicians, therapists, and families to ensure seamless and safe patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical care delivery, ensuring high standards of patient safety and outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions, identifying changes proactively for rapid intervention.
• Educate and support patients and families with discharge planning to promote successful transitions home.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a valid multi‑state license.
• Certification in BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross within one month of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent professional licensure.
