About the role
Provide compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care for neuro patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and surgeries in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead patient care ensuring clinical excellence at every bedside.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts, acting as a central communication hub between physicians, therapists, and families.
- Monitor and interpret patient clinical status, identifying changes for timely intervention.
- Educate patients and families, facilitating discharge planning for a smooth transition home.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or applicable multi‑state license.
- BLS certification within one month of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
