Schedule

• Shift: Days, 7 am – 7 pm
• Rotating weekends and holidays

Pay

Sign-on bonus: $15,000 for new graduates, up to $20,000 for experienced nurses.

About the role

Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital providing care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients. Our unit Patient/Nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical demands: push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – training provided by Mercy during orientation if not already certified.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Other unit-specific certifications as required or acquisition within department-required timeframe.
