Registered Nurse - Med/Surg, Days, Mercy Hospital Logan County

Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to Observation, Inpatient, and Swing patients. Our unit has a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to deliver coordinated, excellent care and facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.

About the role

Full-time, non-exempt position with a 36-hour work week. Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on days, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Sign-on bonus: $15,000 for new graduates, up to $20,000 for experienced nurses.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion within 30 days of hire
• Other unit-specific certifications as required (training provided by Mercy during orientation if not already certified)
