Registered Nurse - Med/Surg, Days

About the Role

Provide coordinated, high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg department of a critical access hospital. Work closely with therapy teams to support patient recovery and return to daily activities while maintaining a patient/nurse ratio of 5:1.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, treatments, and documentation
• Deliver compassionate care during day shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient well-being

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the relevant state or jurisdiction
• Must meet all state nursing requirements

Skills & Certifications

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS (training provided if not already certified)
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required
