About the Role

The Nurse Manager is a licensed registered nurse responsible for leading and managing a specific clinical unit or service, promoting clinical excellence, staff recruitment, retention, and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership through effective communication, observation, and measurement of care practices and outcomes.
• Manage clinical, financial, human, and material resources to meet organizational goals.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained using data and technology to mitigate risks.
• Foster a collaborative, safe, and positive work environment aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Engage staff in decision-making and promote relationship-based, patient-centered care.
• Lead staff development, competency, and professional growth initiatives.
• Promote evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.
• Represent the organization positively in the community and participate in professional activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master’s preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state license (eNLC).
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.
• Certifications in BLS required upon hire.
