Role Overview The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management for a specific clinical unit(s), ensuring high-quality care, safety, and staff retention. They are responsible for effective communication, resource deployment, financial management, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The role involves promoting staff competency, ensuring compliance with standards, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve clinical and operational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Engage staff through shared governance and promote relationship-based care delivery.Serve as the unit's safety and retention leader, managing human and material resources efficiently.Analyze financial data, reduce waste using quality improvement tools, and support service line growth.Foster interdisciplinary collaboration, establish positive relationships, and promote professional development.Ensure staff competency, uphold ethical standards, and support professional nursing practice.Lead change management initiatives, promote research and evidence-based practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.Manage budgets, participate in community outreach, and represent the organization positively. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.Current RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact.Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association, active nursing license.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
