Role Overview The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse responsible for leading and managing a clinical unit or service, ensuring quality patient care, safety, and staff retention. They oversee clinical, financial, human, and material resources, promoting a culture of safety and excellence through effective communication, data-driven decision-making, and compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities Engage staff in decision-making and promote relationship-based, patient-centered care.Serve as chief retention and safety officer, managing resources efficiently.Analyze financial and operational performance, utilizing quality improvement strategies.Foster interdisciplinary collaboration, set performance standards, and resolve conflicts.Support professional development, uphold ethical standards, and model exemplary practice.Promote evidence-based nursing, research, and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's preferred.Current RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact license.Minimum of 2 years in nursing management.Certifications: BLS, and relevant licensure required at hire.Excellent communication, leadership, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
