Registered Nurse - Long Term Care Full Time Evening

About the role

We are seeking a skilled nurse to provide comprehensive care to residents with acute, subacute, and chronic conditions, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health, and report significant changes.
• Provide guidance to CNAs, coordinate workflow, and utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Maintain medication inventory, ensure proper distribution, and monitor for side effects.
• Communicate with residents, families, and guardians about care needs, and offer education as needed.
• Implement preventive measures such as skin checks, repositioning, and safety alarms to promote resident well-being.
• Deliver quality end-of-life care, ensuring comfort, hygiene, and spiritual needs, and participate in departure procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and other assigned duties in a safe, alert manner.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• Valid RN license and BLS certification for the respective state.
• Physical ability to perform patient care and mobility tasks.
