About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with acute, subacute, and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications and treatments per care plans and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Providing guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and overseeing unit workflow to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitoring residents' conditions, communicating significant changes to physicians, and documenting accurately.
- Managing medication inventories, ensuring correct distribution, and monitoring side effects.
- Educating residents and families, addressing preventative measures, and ensuring comfort and safety.
- Responding promptly to alarms, implementing restraint alternatives, and providing end-of-life care with compassion and dignity.
- Participating in shift reports, maintaining safety protocols, and performing point-of-care testing if needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
- Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform necessary tasks.
- Strong communication skills and attention to resident safety and comfort.
Skills
- Excellent assessment, planning, and evaluation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and families.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards of practice.
Schedule
